Delivery is FREE if you order more than £70 worth of goods and your order weighs no more than 15kgs (inc VAT) and you live in England, Wales or Southern Scotland. Delivery charges range from £2.99 on all other deliveries to UK addresses dependant upon the size, weight and value of your order and where you live. There is a surcharge of 59p per kg for all orders over 15kgs in weight.
To maintain the balance between speed of delivery and cost of delivery, we use a range of couriers, sending out the order with the courier that offers the best rate.
How long will it take to get my order?
The speed of delivery is measured from the time that we contact you with
confirmation of your order and is an approximate length of time before you can
expect to receive your order. Please note that orders received before
midday will usually be processed on the same day for next day delivery, subject to stock availability. Orders
received after midday will only be processed on the following working day.
Do we deliver on Saturdays?
We can deliver your order on a Saturday morning if you live in the UK, but we are charged a £20 surcharge by our courier company, Business Post, and this is passed on to you, the customer, at cost. There is no free delivery service on a Saturday. We will only deliver your order on a Saturday if you have specifically requested such a delivery either by phone or by e-mail.
Deliveries to EU addresses
Please note that the delivery costs shown in the tables below for deliveries to addresses outside the UK are guide prices only since the costs can vary according to the contents of each shipment. Additional security and fuel costs on international shipping have increased costs to us which we have no alternative but to pass on to our customers. Once you have placed your order we will contact you to confirm the delivery cost. Please note that the delivery cost shown in the e-mail confirming receipt of your order is only a guide and can be higher or lower than the delivery charge shown. This will be confirmed with you prior to despatch of your order.
Deliveries to the USA
Deliveries to USA addresses are becoming more and more difficult with different rules being in force from state to state. We are doing our best to find a solution. However, we have found that shipments under two kilograms in weight are less likely to have difficulty than heavier shipments and we urge our customers to bear this in mind when ordering. Where necessary we can send out shipments in separate packages of under two kilograms each. When you place your order we will contact you to discuss the shipping method that we will be using.
How to calculate my likely delivery charge for myself.
The tables below show the delivery costs for different countries and different order weights. For each class of order in the tables, the colour of the cell indicates which courier we use for that class of order.
UK Mainland (excluding Northern Scotland)
Orders above £70 and no more than 15kgs in weight delivered FREE OF CHARGE! All orders to SL and RG postcodes only £2.99 for delivery of orders up to 30kgs. The standard delivery charge for orders to be delivered to England, Wales and Southern Scotland via Business Post starts at £8.99.
